Whats some good TV shows to watch?

Star Trek Discovery - 8/10

As a diehard Star Trek fan, I will admit this was damn hard to get into, first 4 episodes I was not sold at all !!!!
Too dark !! Too much subtitled Klingon lingo, I mean you can be clever but who wants to strain to read subtitles in a dark background ...
But boy did they come home strong, definitely more in line with the latest movies, than the series we all know and love.
Star Trek fan? Definitely give this a watch and please try and stick with it. Does take some getting into !!!

ive never seen any of the star trek series' or movies, but for whatever reason, i thought id give this a shot. it was a little shoddy in parts, but the overall story was good and kept me coming back...neat twist aswell, but im not sure i'll continue with the second season tho?

Funny you say that, I just quit it. This new season is not interesting enough this season to keep me hooked.

You did? I must admit it was a little confusing at the start, with the sheer scope of time we now appear to be dealing with.
I also really enjoyed the addition of the Samurai, definitely loving this show.

Last 2 episodes of Safe dropped yesterday on Netflix. It's a good quick fix series.
Only 8 episodes at just over 40min each.
1 season and done.
Def worth watching
If you're planning to have a gander make sure you start at ep1 or you will ruin it for yourself if you accidentally start with eps 7&8

Cobra Kai - 8.5/10

Fan of Karate Kid from way back in the day? No, not the new version with Jackie Chan
Then you will definitely enjoy this.
It does start off a little slow, so bear with it for a couple of episodes.

just finished 'cobra kai'. pretty funny, and the plot reversal works really well...nice to know those two have a healthy sense of humor about their careers.
also watched 'the looming tower' a couple of weeks ago. interesting enough to keep me interested, and its always nice to get a complete story, not having to wait to see if a season 2 is getting picked up.
'12 monkeys' is on its final season. ive mentioned it before, but this show really surprised me. shows on scyfy are usually some of the worst around, but they managed to make a pretty good series here. and it all links together well, which can be difficult over four seasons. especially in a time travel show.
the new season of 'GLOW' is out aswell. ive really enjoyed this show so far. very funny.
a little late, but im about to start westworld...i hear good things.
'superstore' and 'silicon valley' are my two recommendations for those who havent seen them...

Been watching ‘Marlon’ on Netflix, not a bad little comedy.

Always funny when you can see the actors laughing in the scenes trying to keep it all together and they just keep rolling

me too. hearing Tim Olyphant virtually destroy all my hopes when talking on an old podcast I listened to the other day (about how impossible it is to get all that talent free at the same time these days) then I looked it up and found that story.

It deserves to be wrapped up finally and I'd love for it to be, but if it doesn't, I think I can accept that lol

yeah, a movie may ruin the legacy...especially if they cant get all the main characters back.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan - 9/10

Only 2 episodes into this series and thoroughly enjoying it.
Great production and extremely well made. Enough back story and action to keep this humming along nicely.
Definitely worth a watch if you are currently looking for something to binge watch.
