*.RMVB stands for Real Media Variable Bitrate which can be played with realplayer.

As to convert not too sure as I haven't tried before.

Does Real Player give you that option?

Also Nero 7 might just do it.... have't tried with that format but it automatically converts when you burn an actual dvd and not a data dvd....

well, RMVB is compressed video file... I didn't like that much compare to DivX or XviD.. it's basically suitable for real video.. if you want to convert into DVD, i don't think it's very good idea, perhaps you are talking about convert into AVI. coz for me, i bought DivX player and burn it in 4.5GB, so it's 6 full DivX/XviD movies in one disk.. and does all the work.
