What happens to your cards/hobby item if/when you die?

so as a pretty big collector of nba cards, comics,coins,banknotes,billt the kid items, i was sitting up the other nite wondering who would get all me high end pc cards if/when i die.......just wondering if anyone has any thought on what they would do with there cards or have thought about what they have in place if/when this happens... love to no your thoughts guys and girls

I'm still young - 21, but I've told my Mum that if something happens she should put everything on eBay and use the money to send herself on a holiday.

The missus doesn't like the cards so she gets none. HAHA

Honestly, I've never considered it. I'd hope that my wife would find a way to sell them off and put the money towards something useful for her and bub.

Maybe in time, I might be able to hand it over to my daughter, but she's but 11wks old, so a bit early yet. ha ha. That, and she may develop zero interest in a hobby, ha ha.

its never too early, give her a jordan now and tell her to look after it

I would leave them to a mate who i have collected with for almost 20 yrs, and hopefully he would give some to my son

im still young, but if i did die my collection would go to my brother because he would appreciate them the most andh as seen how much i enjoy them

It's funny because we've talk with my family about this around one or two weeks ago

And in the discussion my kids said that's my cards was a part of me and they like keep the cards after my death ( but they hope i don't die soon ) and after give them to their kids..... Some family have jewels who go generation to generations, for us that's will be basketball cards.
I know that's cards has a value, but for me heart value is more important than $ value.

I've got the big chance that's my kids enjoy and share with me this hobby so it's just normal that's my cards will be their.

And if i don't see the kids of my kids, they could show to us the things that's their grand mama like when she was in this earth

I have 2 cards put away for my kids, one for each son, the rest I've already told my brother that if I go before him he's to sell them off and fly to Vegas and put it all on red

mine go to my baby boy, hopefully he falls in love with collecting like me, have over 10 binders full atm, got everything but still got the drive to find more, my miss's calls in an addiction lol
