couldn't help but post this here as i had one of the best weekends ever.
first on saturday i went to a garage sale and picked up a PS2 for $5 thats right $5, owner said that the laser was rooted and it didn't work but my son and i have been playing games all weekend, then i played cricket and scored 74, not bad considering i got out for a 2nd ball duck the previous week, then on sunday i was bored so i busted a box of 04/05 hoops and pulled 6 jerseys, yep 6 jerseys when box says 2 on average and a isiah thomas hoops history.
has anyone else had a great weekend or is it just my turn.

oh man $5 for a PS2 *cries*
thats awesome, ive been wanting to pick one up for a while now, but $200ish seems a bit high for such old technology, especially considering how much $200 means to me.

Sounds like a blaster!!

We had a pretty decent one. Got woken up around 11ish yesty morning, with a phone call from Danni's mother. They were at a Garage Sale (must have been a weekend for em!) anyways, we get out there, and picked up a bedroom suite (consisting of matching wardrobe, bedsides, and dresser), and then a Lounge Suite, all for $120!!!!!

That's the highlight for us!

thanks for all replies, great to see others having some good luck with the exception of the crapped in chair.
and clarkescards it is always great to score runs especially after a second ball duck the week before.

It's not as bad as then getting a golden duck the next week!!!

Got 49 in my 1st season, in a match we were about 6/40, chasing 170ish and put on about 120 run stand with another guy to save the match. Following week got a batting promotion, and followed me magnificent innings with a duck.
