Good to see they didn't try and "doctor" the pitch - NOT!

The pitch next to it which was used for the previous game had 3 TIMES as much grass and Ponting described the pitch they played on as "basically rolled mud"! As soon as I saw Krejza bowl his first over I knew we would be in trouble when we batted.......thank god for the rain and sucked in Sri Lanka (LMAO). I am sick of the roads we have produced over the last few years!

Now in all honesty I don't really have an issue with this as it is their home game BUT WHY CAN'T WE ADOPT THE SAME PRINCIPLE when playing here in Australia?

In other words STOP producting ROADS and give our fast bowlers some assistance by producing a pitch with a bit of bounce and pace!

What do you guys think?

I have no problem with producing a track to suit our best bowling attack. Why give other sides the advantage.

Exactly my point mate. The Indian subcontinent teams (read India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka) would struggle against our pace attack here if we didn't churn out "roads" just so the match gets to day five.

Just as we will struggle on their mud pitches that heavily assist "spin bowling". I say "spin bowling" because that also includes "spin" chucking (LMAO).

and nothing gets said about those tracks ( pitches ), unreal, the indian media, unreal, but it doesn't matter, were Aussies, the harder they make it, the harder we are, the more satisfying the Cup will be this time, C'mon boys !!!!!
