Received my 2005 Power predictors and playmakers back from Select yesterday along with this nasty surprise. They were contacted prior to me purchasing a case of this product and assured me there were no issues with redeeming these predictors.
I was obviously very disappointed with this little note and have contacted Select via e-mail. At the least I thought they may have compensated for the trios with something else.
I'm also puzzled as to why the tigers playmaker is still avaiable if the trios aren't as I would assume they were made in equal numbers of 240 and would have been redeemed in equal numbers. Do I smell a rat.
I did redeem a 2006 Invincible set earlier this year without any problems.
So be warned, don't go paying big dollars for a tigers predictor from this set.
Seems suss that they don't have any yet you had the redemption card. I've always had thoughts that people at select took cards for themselves. I would say that's what has happened otherwise they would still have the cards to go with the unredeemed predictors
I see what your saying but as I understand it there were 240 tigers predictors, 240 playmakers and 240 trios. They supplied me with one of the playmakers so there should still have been a corresponding trio set available.
Signed off "Regards Select"..........not enough ownership of the problem, put a name to your response and make it right. That is the differrence between a company that respects their customers and a business that has a bad name because of consitent poor customer service.
I can't follow why they wouldn't have this card; replacing damaged sets, stolen, give aways I don't know but it seems pretty wrong.
Yeah it's pretty obvious they gave them away to persons who didn't submit redemption cards.
Or maybe I redeemed the 240th and last of the tigers predictors and as they keep no. 1 of every numbered set there weren't any left.
Anyway I've asked for some sort of compensation and we'll see what happens.
Meanwhile the search for the mini premiership set begins.
That is pretty poor form that you can still pull an unredeemed Tigers predictor but there are no Premiership Sets left..........how in hell does that work?

Well when you see Dealers selling redeemed without Predictors its easy to see what has happened.
Plus if the boss keeps cards for himself why wouldnt his employees feel the same.
FYI, I asked the question about how a situation such as this could occur on Select's FB Page, it pays to call them out in public once and a while. Di responded that 'she is dealing with the collector herself, and I don't need to worry about it'. I responded that a lot of people are interested in how Select will assist the collector but that does not answer the question about how a collector can send in a winning predictor only to be told they have run out of mini-premiership sets, especially when cases of this product are still available and potentially more Tigers predictors.
It is atrocious how this company can be so flippant in its approach to collectors, they need to remember they only have a business because of collectors like those found on these boards.
