Want A Little Understanding

Some people on here seem to think we are all here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I usually check the site atleast once every 2 days but last week my wife went into labour and we had our first child. Now comes the part im alittle pissed about. As some of you know (Parents) its an exciting time and to tell the truth the last thing i wanted to do was be on the internet. Now some people were understanding some not so. Anyway i think Members should give other members time and just relax abit. No one is here to rip anyopne off or be dodgy so chill out.......
Anyway most people on here are great

true in many respects!! i think the main worry is that if your absent for like a week or something, people get worried because if your in a deal, after all they probably are giving up their time, cards and money or one of those.

the best thing i find to do, is that if your going to be absent, tell the person so that they're not left worrying.

i've told people that i'll be away for two weeks during the holidays, or something like that and they have all been very understanding.

You have made good points but if you have not finalised a deal then it doesn't hurt to give people a heads up or say het I'll be away for a while !

Thats a bit disappointing to hear, especially during what should be a happy time, or if you listen to my old man, the beginning of the end of your life lol

I had a personal issue arise recently, and the members i contacted to inform of it were more than accomdating, along with the eBay sellers i was buying stuff from, so im surprised.

Yeah I agree and I'm famous for not getting to every PM quickly but a little patience is a virtue. Being away for week or more when deals are on it would be great for notice but a few days is a bit much.

Don't stress about the no-contact, I'd be in the same right-of-mind, and would probably be concentrating on the bigger picture.

But I would at least login to see if the Mavs had a win.....

hey osmond congrats thats great and on the topic try 2 understand if he/she knew what was going on i'm sure they would have been more patient but people are worried about gettin jipped i was in a similar situation with ebay i bought from a guy paid but recieved nothing, wouldn't reply 2 my emails so after a month i left a neg then suprise it shows up 2 months later logged in here and found out he had been in a car accident. I felt very bad but yeah anyway who cares u must be thrilled, bet ya cried as your baby saw light 4 the 1st time haha i know i did
