Wally Lewis 7 sports card

Hi guys

After some help from those in the know. I picked this wally Lewis card up a few weeks ago, I had never seen it before and thought it looks quite rare. Before purchasing it I asked the seller about the card but only managed to obtain that wally worked with 7 sport for three months and during this time a lot of the presenters had cards made up, the seller got it from someone who worked at channel 7 at the time but didn't know much more.

Does any one know what year it's from?
Is it a legitimate card?

I took a punt as I think it will be a unique addition to my collection but need to put my mind at ease before putting it in the folder.

It's postcard size, maybe a little smaller. It's very similar to the channel 9 wally Lewis cards that was produced when he began working for channel 9

Home and away has similar cards for their actors (I used to collect them as a kid). Lol. They're just referred to as fan cards. Promo shots.

Cheers mate, you seem to be right on the mark. I would say they are in the same category as the channel 9 wally Lewis cards that came out in 90 & 92, but I just think because he was only there for 3 months (tops) they would have only had a very short run and disposed of the additional when he left for channel 9
