yeh saw it, he's a funny and charismatic guy... also listened to SEN radio in victoria on monday where he had a 40 min interview with his mate andrew gaze and andy maher
Awesome items you got signed there mate. Was he surprised at all that you had those items for him to sign? He definitely would be an interesting guy to meet, so nice work.

no not at all, he was so gracious and kind... and very patient with ppl constantly wanting auto's and photos etc... i would have flipped my lid if i was him LOL!
Vlade hell! That's one amazing mailday! Surprised you didn't have any Lakers stuff for him to sign - after all if it wasn't for Vlade, Kobe would have been a Hornet!
Awesome stuff Branko, did you have a chance to exchange words and have a good chat with him?
That documentary is a must watch for those that haven't seen it, it was such a shame the way Drazen & Vlade drifted apart because of the tensions between the serbs and croats, they were brothers one second and enemies the next, not even an exchange of words on the court and that hurt Vlade especially when Drazen passed, congratulations on getting that signed.
You should have asked for a milk crate to stand on before taking the picture.

yeh we chatted with him after the event on saturday night for about 30mins (approx 20 of us) once official proceedings had been completed, he was smoking and all - he is so down to earth, natural and humble... he chatted mostly about politics, the refugee situation, the once brothers film and ofkors about his career which everyone is always fascinated about... i was also fortunate to have some byplay with him during the auctions as you will see from the photos i posted which was mega cool and very special for me - once in a lifetime type stuff, i even got him to knock down the hammer on one of the items for me that the little boy won (pair of his shoes from memory)... met with him and is wife again on monday at another much smaller more intimate event which is where i got the pic with my wife
thank you bradley - it was a once in a lifetime opportunity
very accommodating for photos, autos and a chat, very humble, generous and a funny guy as you may have seen from my photos (i was making him laugh consistently during my auctions)... see my post from the event in basketball discussions
he got into some serbian folk dancing and on monday night when i saw him again he even got into some serbian singing with the band that was on hand.
