Is there a more selfless or team-oriented batsman in international cricket today than Virender Sehwag?

I have just been looking through his (updated) statistics, and it makes for incredble reading:

Tests
7694 runs @ 53.43
Strike rate 81.91

ODI's
7555 runs @ 35.30
Strike rate 103.69

Just an insanely aggressive player, a pleasure to watch in full flight. After last night's innings, this could be his tournament I hope. Would never tire of watching him bat.
 
he did look very good(even on one leg) but lets hope its not india's tournament. four in a row would be sick for the aussies, especially given the current climate.
 
They are very impressive stats Matty, he is one player who gets people through the gate to watch him bat, always aggressive and exciting no matter what the format.

I really can't see the aussies getting within a bull's roar of South Africa and India this World Cup, Aussies should be about 30-1 in my books. Bowling stocks are very ordinary, too many niggly injuries to too many players and and aging list.
 
don't talk too loudly. there would be plenty to take you up on 30-1 odds. a big bonus is we dont meet india or south africa until finals, our draw leaves us plenty of time to get the house in order. 30-1 is way harsh.
