Vin Baker works where now?!

At least he didn't give up, nba players union need to look at having nba wages having %20 put aside and paid out at a % when the player retires, almost a safe guard to protect the players from themself.

^^^ Agree, there are some old school players that never learned to manage their money.

So many tales of rags to riches and then back to rags again.

I think we'll see less of this happening in the future though, people are just more investment savvy.

Vin Bakers story is still way more respectable than Robert Swifts...lol

For all the crap that people put on Dennis Rodman I'll give him this, in his last contract with the Bulls a certain amount was put aside till he was older that he could not touch, smart move

Same with Iverson, yeah he went close to bankrupt, but he has a large sum of coin aside that he is (reportedly) not able to touch.

However I read that there is certain legislation that allows him to utilize some of that money in advance beforehand.

I'm thankful enough Kemp had an advisor make him stash money away and invest it in retail and amongst other things he owns his own restaurant in Seattle named Oskars.
I hope to go there one day in the near future and have a drink and a photo with the Reignman!
