I dont think it will kill the hobby but it will slow it down and make it a helluva lot harder for small business in Australia , Ironically in the Usa it will have the opposite effect. My thought is that a lot of hype will die down when a new box comes out due to the fact we may not see them for possibly at least two weeks after the Usa release. To me Panini needs to set up a regular supply line to Australia through a local distrib that can then ensure local brick and mortar shops are supplied upon release at the specified price. (hey panini I have a huge Garage!) Realistically they would only need a few pallets shipped over for a release date to cover the initial two weeks. Once the two weeks are up then the online retailers could buy up the remaining stock as long as they signed a contract to the fact that they would not break the price point. Everybody wins!
