This is Rick out the front of my place on Swanston st as we split trams

Damn I thought he was going down when he clipped it a little. Damn Scotty called me on the mobile the other day while I did this but albeit further up the street where the gap is bigger. The looks on the passengers faces is always priceless

More clips comming including me taking out this guy and his whole body leaves the ground! LOL DONT CROSS ON THE RED! [-X

My balls aint big enuff to be caught doin that.

I heard what it was like on the phone, but being there..... WOAH!
He's f-ckin hammerin' it!!! That's awesome as!

in the words of family guy,
'Griffen your a MadMan' :D

that is some crzy shit, i would have the same face expressions of the people on the tram if i was witnessing that.

one of my mates, use to catch trains on the outside. He'd jump on to the tracks and then jump on the end of the train without the driver and hold the bar and ride the trains. he was a crazy mo fo:lol:

Ahh depends Locky. I don't have my bars cut down at the moment like I should. Gone for comfort for a while. On that bit there is maybe a few cm's each side of the bars. On most streets is not possible without cut down bars.

On the bit Scotty was talking about I had about half a foot each side so no big deal but harder on the phone LOL He could hear all the traffic and me going "ahh shit awwww" as I didn't know I had a tram coming from behind LMAO

Getting ready for the World messenger championships in October that are in Sydney this year. Whole bunch of us going up for them and compete. Should be heaps of fun.

We are just putting up more vids online now and should have a better siter with them all to show soon.

Most of them are pretty big in size and have to be shrunk down for the site.

Here's an old one featuring the legendary Matty Ben!

And yeah DVS don't want to go into it too much as it hits home every time a mate goes down or you hit someone but I've lost mates, put people in hospital and woken up there myself. At the end of the day any day you get home is a good day ;-)

Most acidents are pretty trivial but shit happens still. I put two kids in hospital just before xmas and broke ones pelvis, arm and leg etc. That was not a good time for me. I was pretty cut up about that.

Got a mate learning to walk and talk still after going down a few years ago getting a tow off a car and landing on his head. Thats no fun seeing him. We lost a motorbike courier a few weeks ago at my company and I lost a good mate a few years ago too. Workcover hates us guys. You just have to be careful and attentive. Thats why Im buggered at a night and cranky as I have to be on the ball all day on the road while still taking details on the radio and thinking about my route i'm taking and where to next etc. My head cops more than the legs.

That explains a lot of the late night "arguments" ;).

Like i said i really didnt think there was that much danger/involved in being a courier. But this is coming from a guy who has lived in country towns all his life....

Most ride a modified bike. The whole fixed wheel track bike is all the rage at the moment but riding with no brakes doesn't apeal to me and my company wont allow it.

The fastest option is a parred down road bike either single speed/geared and with flat bars etc like a mountain bike.

But often in winter I'll switch to a mountain bike with slicks coz it gets real hairy some days. Over summer I might use a traditonal road bike to fight that hot wind and make it easier.

And plenty of fines but only when they crack down on us. There are push bike police on mountain bikes that watch us. Fines are $220 for a red light!

Thats nuts Chad riding between trams :D i can barly walk between them LMAO, do you hold your breath till you get through them :smt103
