I cannot tell you for sure, but I think that there is white fabric backing behind the black, and the black has come away from the stitching. SO I guess this make it a 4 colour patch instead of three?

some great looking cards, they scan up really well. The 2004-05 Fleer Throwbacks is a sweet looking card, love the patch on it.
