Using the same image on cards.

I am sure there is a thread on here about this topic but I could not find it anywhere.

I can fully understand that companies may use the same image over a range of their products during the same release year but this one has me puzzled.

1st 2009 - 2010 Topps


2nd 2012 - 2013 Panini Totally Certified


Come on Panini surely there is a newer image of Deng than this.

not anything new been happening for years.

what i would like to know is how many different cards (not including parallel) have the same picture
