US seller clutching straws!

I won an auction with clear terms and a price for int shipping. Now the seller sends me an invoice with a higher price for shipping. I called him out on it nicely asking why and it better be for global priority shipping et but its still high for that. I'll pay what the auction terms state.

Now he justifies it with saying he has to cover penny sleeves?????

And dlv confirmation that he can't use to send here?? Not for the amount he is charging at least.

SHIPPING COSTS ALSO INCLUDES DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, TOP LOADER, PROTECTIVE SLEEVE. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY, I WILL MAKE A SECOND CHANCE OFFER TO ANOTHER.

This after one nice email. A seller with feedback over 1000 too. Inclined to tell him to fuck off but its Timmys.

As you know Chad, I can't stand those pricks!
Hope you don't mind me putting a little rant in here, just got charged $5 shipping for airmail on 2 cards. It arrived with $1.80 on the mailer. I sent a nice email stating that I had been somewhat overcharged and would like a refund. Then comes the "Clutching at straws" email back. "Costs money for this that and the other, plus my handling fee". I sent back another nice email stating that; my feedback would have to reflect the transaction and the fact that I was overcharged for shipping. I hope this won't effect your feedback you leave for me, by being pissed that I left you a negative for overcharging me on shipping. A few minutes later I received my refund! $3.20 US. So I got myself a free 40-odd cent mailer, 2x toploaders, 2x penny sleeves and free handling! Hows that! lol.

I also just got quoted $17 Global Priority for shipping one card! I just sent him back a nice email stating it only costs $5.25 for a prepaid mailer.
Pricks I say!

It stills works out to be cheaper than other completed auctions so I'll still take it. The seller is a $%# though. Just trying to get more money because we won the Billips cheap!

Paid for but at the price in the auction description. If he has a problem with that he can get stuffed! You can't put a price for int shipping and then up it on the invoice coz the card sold cheap. I'll neg him and report it. Still have his emails and invoice etc.

This guy has a real bad atitude. Thats what pissed me off. Went off at me after one email simply asking a question thinking he made a mistake.

thats an annoying trend in ebay atm, if a card or anyhting goes for a bargain price, the sellers jack up the price in shipping so as to make a profit.

good for you for standing up to the prick and not being afraid of a neg feedback.ebay really has to start making some regulations and rules for shipping, its just getting out of control what some are charging.

now they have this feature that automatically recognises your country and puts the specified postage charge...but some of them are rediculous...$17 etc...for on card!

do you mean the postage calculator? if so, i think it only works in america at the moment.

no not the postage calculator...ive been noticing lately on a large majority of items, where it says "ships to: worldwide" and underneath that we'd normally see an american price...Ive been seeing "to Australia - $6.00 Global priority" etc

All of the postage calculators are wrong. Simple as that. USPS need to do something about that too. I have seen it too many times, I buy boxes off ebay and sellers always end up giving me a refund back
