Hey,

Just like to know what you guys do when it comes to US only ebay auctions... ie do you use a service/friend to bid and then ship to you?

I've got my eye on a few items for my PC but its US only... I'd be willing to pay a fee for their services.

Thanks in advance.

Most of the time, if you ask them really nicely, sellers will ship to Australia. Just point out your feedback, tell them that the player you want to bid on is needed for your PC, and that you will make a instant payment. If they still won't do it, then it's probably not worth it. Good luck

Thanks mate... this seller is pretty adamant that they wont ship non US... and its a /5 card so it may not be easy to find again.

maybe ask one of our american members if u can have it shipped to their house then pay them the postage cost to send it on to you?

Yep, just about what I do.

Always ask. Communication and 100% feedback goes a long way. Have only ever run into 2 sellers whom still wouldn't ship.

Also, depends how badly you want the card.

If I want it bad, always comes down to the "You can send Via Global Express Insured mail for $25, that way you are covered and so am I". Always works a charm ;)

I live in the US and I have helped many people buy cards from US only auctions and I send it them where ever they live. If anybody needs me to do that let me know I maybe able to help.

I do but I find that many US sellers now want $11 shipping international or take 3 weeks to even send the item.

lol good timing with this thread lads, I just buggered up and won a US-only auction!! shawn or star would one of you mind helping?
