Urgent help/advice needed!

Well guys MY card has resurfaced, and low and behold, it's in the same place as the fraudulent seller comes from who ripped me off $1028US in a deal a few months back.

Kobe Bryant 07-08 SP Authentic Chirography Gold AUTO /5 - eBay (item 110291846425 end time Sep-26-08 14:21:08 PDT)

What do I do? Who do I contact? Who do I report this to? What do I do!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help

What a piece of garbage have you reported to ebay ?
and he is not ripping off with small amounts .

Get a phone number for paypal or ebay and get on the blower...

At very least demand they contact the police in the area the user's registered because if they allow a listing they have had reported to them as being a previous fraud it's not good at all...

EDIT - supposedly ebay works with local law enforcement to combat fraud - make them prove it!

get in touch with whoever you can

im sure some people from here will fire off a few friendly messages to the seller of the new listing

I'd advise not alerting them to the fact you're onto them yet, nor anyone else send them messages...

i wouldnt send a message but ive seen other times when people jump to the aid quickly and have a good time annoying people over ebay

I'd certainly get the local police involved thru eBay or paypal BUT.

I just can't figure out why you would buy off a seller with that sort of feedback in the first place for an amount like that??

I was thinking the exact same thing........even if the 2 negs came after you purchased why the **** would you spend 1k on cards from a 0 feedback seller.......next time just send me your money.

Personally I think misgivings about how good paypal's buyer protection is would have contributed. Paypal are crooks.

I have to agree that it wasn't a wise decision to buy it off a low feedback seller, but what's done is done.

The card is clearly the same card as you purchased - the fact its in the same place just means that the 2 sellers are probably either identical or know each other.

You can get certain contact details from ebay if i'm not wrong, to get some idea of where they "live".

I know its probably not advised on this board, but personally if i were ripped off US$1000, its well worth the plane ticket over there.

This just makes me more aware before I spent such amount of money online.

Not only Ben but this ebayer (hanizena) from OZ got ripped off as well. Very scary!

Yes me and Hani have been in close contact about it. Also with a US guy.

You think I don't know I was taking a risk on the 0 feedback? Of course I was, but given the fact that it could have paid off big time and the rareness of that set card, I took the chance...and lost...and yes PayPal did screw me over too only giving $200 back (I thought I was covered...apparently not, I have learnt).

So sure, send me your bank details and I'll simply send you the money......thanks for your input.

I don't understand how both his usernames on Ebay can still be active after
the feedback received, should be no longer registered.

Paypal are hopeless , $200 thats pretty poor, ebay goes on about you need
to use paypal so your covered, blah blah blah, its all bull****!!

Apparently that's all I "qualified" for. Likely also because of the low feedback of the seller (0 at purchase time, 1 at payment time). However I didn't realise that prior to purchase and like I said, I have now learnt...though I don't know what the cut off for feedback might have been for getting more than $200....me thinks 15,000,000 100% positive!

I hope you manage to get the authorities to deal with the ***** and can somehow still pick up that beauty. I have no idea how the local (US) law enforcement would respond but it cant hurt.
