UFC UFC 109 Event - with Spoilers

Did anyone else watch UFC 109 on the weekend?

The main event for the night was Mark Coleman vs Randy Couture (combined age 91 years!!). Was a bit of a fizzer. Some of the undercard bouts were good though.

My favourite bit was probably Coleman yelling "F' you Tito!" during he post fight interview.

Yeah main event was pretty predictable, Randy dominated standing and wouldve dominated anywhere really. Coleman is done and is not a threat to anyone half decent.

I was super impressed with Chael Sonnen though. He really dominated Nate for most of the fight and really beat him up early too. That said, Anderson will obliterate him if they end up fighting, especially when hes got 5 rounds to do it and Sonnen doesnt have a whole lot of finishing ability.

And on the whole this show has got me pumped up for 110 in 2 weeks

Yeah I enjoyed it, loved watching Serra get the KO. And yeah sonnen was super impressive, I dunno about this talk of Randy being in the LHW title picture after that win though. I know he is a legend and to be honest he is actually one of my fav fighters, but seriously. how do wins over vera and coleman get you in the picture for the title in that division

Esp. seeing as his 'win' over Vera was very suspect. I don't like Vera, but thought that he won that fight. Randy does not deserve a title shot at this point in time.

Frank Trigg needs to get KTFO every fight!! I like Serra, his fights are normally very entertaining. For anyone that has not seen his very early UFC fights, see if you can find them, he was great!

I thought Nate would dominate his fight, he is top class and one of my very favourite fighters. Chael was very impressive, I never would have predicted that.

I think that Tito vs Coleman would be a more even fight than Randy vs Coleman. Also, Tito seems pretty good at beating the over 40's!! Might help him improve his record a bit!
