Two terrible breaks...for a laugh

So i am staying at my parents place a few nights, had a couple of boxes down here that i decided to break.

1st Box - Upper Deck 91-92 Basketball. Got 3 of the same Hakeem Olajuwon hologram card A few Jerry West Basketball Heroes Cards.

2nd Box - Upper Deck 09-10 Retail. The last 5 or so cards in nearly every pack were damaged, they had a crease about maybe 5mm wide running down the entire length of the card, obviously some manufacturing error. The 3 masterpieces i got - Lebron, Julius Erving, Kevin Garnett were all damaged and peeling in exactly the same spots. Thankfully the few Now Appearing inserts, Blake Griffin Star Rookies and Jordan Legacy Cards were fine. But wait for it, no jersey card

Ah, just wasn't my night.

Haha surely will, i intend to get a few soon. Any recommendations? I'm thinking one or two 09-10 Upper Deck Hobby Boxes and something else. The 09-10 Upper Deck SP Game Used Hobby Boxes are tempting, though a little pricey.

09 10 SP GU are legendary for packing in hits but getting a bit pricey now..... Better luck next time!
