Hi Guys

Bit of a tribute to Cousins and my card collection.
On Friday i said good bye to some lovely cards of his therfore breaking apart the "every card chase of Cousins", so thought it be fitting to do a send off for them!

Reason being as i am not as "super keen" on collecting cards as i once was,
still a big fan of Cuz and still love cards, but thought the timing was right to let them go and put the focus in a different direction!

It was only 5 cards, but in my eyes all in the top 10 of his easily.

I guess it is time to update my sig now:lol:

Not the maildays i am custom too! Bit sad to let them go, but a collecting change is what i am after!

Cheers,
Daniel.

Wow, they are great.

I still reckon that the 1997 Medal signature cards are the best that Select have produced. The James Hird one has been posted elsewhere here and I believe it to be the best football card I have ever seen!

The great thing about your cards is that they tell a story in themselves, a sort of timeline of his career.

nice cards mate, sad to see him go but it was probably a good time t choose before he gets himself into trouble again. i liek that 3rd sig redemption

a hard choice, im sure.
those are some good looking cards (love em all)
which direction are you taking your collection in now?

Tough choice mate but I'm sure you had your reasons. Did you have his 2007 Champions Sketches gem you can offload cheaply. If so, PM me.

Sad to see you let them go mate! I always loved your Cuz PC... Im guessing you'll be chasing more of the memorabilia now?

Just sad he won't really be remembered for his footy, because of incidents in last couple of years..:(

i'll remember him as the hard running premiership player who came back from possibly the end of his career to play a massive part in the Richmond FC's future. goes to show you the guys carticture as a bloke, to be able to come back after what happened and be a positive influence on some young guys is fantastic and makes him an even better player in my opinion. cant wait for this cuz doco so we can all see the inside story instead of judging from the outside. theres more to drug addiction than people think!

I'll remember him for the same, don't doubt that, but, alot of people will remember him for the drugs, off-field blues, etc..

Once again thanks for viewing guys, Cousins has been a champion of our game for so many years!

The 1997 signatures are real beauties indeed mate, they are great. The Hird is a lovely card from that set!

sad to see them go but we all need to change or go stale

It is sad to let them go, but i felt a change in direction was in order.

a hard choice, im sure.

Thanks mate, yeah they were all lovely.
Bit of a focus towards memorabillia side of things now, few larger items etc

Cheers bud. Yeah still have that card, but remains in the collection sorry. Was just these few high ends to go!

Thanks mate, yeh it was a hard choice, one that's been playing on my mind for a little. Thats the plan, trying to collect some more memorabillia now, would love another Cousins match worn if i can ever find one oneday!!

Hey patterz, not sure if you have seen the member "Walshy's" mailday but you should write a letter to cuzzo and see what he sends you back, maybe next year after he's settles down..
