well collingwood would be a clever choice from the point of view that they need someone exactly like him to kick goals (although i dont know how popular he would be going to play for the mortal enemy!!)... teams like them and the dogs, just need the extra 1-2 players to push them over the top in terms of success and in particular forward targets and guys that can kick goals

he obviously brings lots of baggage with him but as we've seen with many other players, a change of scenery can sometimes be just what the doctor

st kilda dont need him... would ruin their renewed culture and make them go backwards

Hey there are Colligwood supporters reading those IQ comments. You cheeky buggers!

As a devout 'stereotypical' Pie man, I'd say Collingwood swap all our 3 round picks for Fev. ;p We ain't losing anyone apart from Rocca, who was already gone, this year to retirement. Throw Fev down our forward line and it's really will be a cake walk to the Granny for us next year! ;p It's the one area of our game that we need to improve to bring home a flag and with a guaranteed 70+ goals, I can smell that sweet, sweet cup already.
And those who know much about where all the teams are at now, know truly, that's all the Pies need to bring home the glory next year...Someone who can kick a bag of goals.

Pie haters, please let me dream...

I agree with a few, Fev won't go anywhere, Carltank are in a premiership window, to lose 80+ goals a year would send them back to the toilet bowl where they belong. So I hope they trade him.

It is really funny, my aunty is a 1 eyed Carlton fan, she has always gone on about them winning and made excuses when they lost. She always said that Judd was rubbish, but once he moved to carlton he is the greatest AFL player to walk the earth. And now she is making excuses for Fevola's off-field anticts, it is really pathetic lol.

They better not get rid of him it is absolute disgrace, this media nowadays can get rid of whoever they chose eg Barry Hall,Terry Wallace and now looks like fev. Love to smash that sheahen and ***** slap that Caro Wilson and all them other soft journos, reckon they just jealous coz fev is a champ and probably Fev pays them journos the respect they deserve (NOTHING). they think they know what they talking about.
Life be pretty boring without characters like Fev and as for that Brett Ratten he can go, rather have Fev than him, could not coach a side to save himself he just lucky Fev and Juddy been there last 2 years or he would have been SACKED.
As for trading fev for that roughhead , roughhead not good enough to tie fevs shoelaces, only half a dozen forwards as good as fev eg buddy, brown, rievolt . Carlton better not get rid of him or i get real

Look the bottom line is, many players have done much worse than being drunk and only copped a tap over the wrist. For them to trade off their crowd favourite is just plain stupid. I really hope he does get traded and watch Carlton struggle to make the 8 next year. They are only hurting themselves and you dont need to be an einstein to see what damage it will cause to Carlton's forward line if they get rid of him. If I were Fev, I wouldn't go back to mongrels like that anyways. So even if they decide they 'cant' reach a trade deal, why would you want to stay at a club who punishes you like that for one night of antics. It's the media and the footy show who have hung him out to be pecked alive, when it was their stupid choice to allow a clearly intoxicated man do a presentation in the first place....Just seems so hypocritical this situation and I really do hope Carlton suffers from this. Edit: Fevola was clearly 'off' his face during the brownlow count. It's funny everyone could see it but those who chose to use it to create a 'media frenzy' The media and Footy show created and amplified this storm, and Carlton officials were stupid enough to play along with them.

There is some absolutely ridiculous comments in this thread! Fevola barley deserves to play AFL let alone for Carlton! I can't believe you so called Carlton supporters are saying your going to give back your memberships and carry on like the clown a couple of posts above me! Yes everyone is human, but not every human is an absolute disgrace to his family and club!! How many fking times does he need to be given a chance!?!? Just because he's the player he is doesnt give him the right to act like a absolute w@nker whenever he feels like it! Seriously, he might be a great player and he is clearly one of the top 3 forwards in the game, but, clubs are built on reputations and so much more then just on field stats! Fev needs to leave Carlton for his own good and the clubs own good.

Anyone that thinks what Fev has done or even makes excuses for him is kidding themselves, either that or your just ferals and beleive thats how people can act, constantly!

Get a grip, if it was a once off thing then far enough, but he's a repeat offender that isn't going to learn, EVER!

On a side note, as much as I despise the fact, I believe this is a smoke screen as well, I don't think Carlton as a club are smart or ethical enough to do the right thing and piss him off!

If Carlton were serious about getting rid of him then why don't they just come out and say that they do not care about who they get in the trade.

It's the same with the Swans (and I'm a Swans supporter). They no longer want Barry Hall (yes he quit but only before he was pushed) and are asking for a higher draft pick than that being offered.

Take what is being offered. A low draft pick doesn't mean a bad player, after all Adam Goodes and James Hird weren't even in the top 30

No one disputes Fev as a player, he's a gun. But as a bloke, he's...quite frankly...a dumb bastard. And yet I believe he'd have written something more cohesive than what you produced...

who is that aimed at? and as for the drug takers, anyone close to the AFL already knows who they r and they will probably not get a game elsewhere and others became 2008 premiers.....

Who you calling a tosser? Have you looked in the mirror lately or are you too busy looking at Fev pinup posters?!?

I don't know why your getting defence, not a single person is disputing the fact the guy can play football, but as for being a good bloke..... That is a debatable statement. There is a difference between doing charity work and such because that's the sort of person you are and doing it to try and repair your image.
The guy is going to go down as one of the great full forwards but unfortunately he isn't going to be remembered for that first! You act like a clown you deserve to be treated like a clown! Ive got 2 family members that have been Carlton members for 30+ years and they both agree Fev needs a change, not matter how much it hurts the club on the field, he's always going to be volatile off the field.

Next time you decide to call anyone a tosser and attempt to give a response, at least put some thought into it and make it coherent!
