only high on your trade is the menzies, maybe hit for some more lower end inserts to sweeten it.
unless i am mistaken the menzies card is his only ever sig card and ltd as well, he is a former champion/legend of the game who played at all levels and has only ever had this 1 card.
(only draw back to his career is that he played to manly)
if you are offering the menzies, the dt and the gem then you can have my eels and manly dt's
yeah the menzies part of the deal is definitely better. but id rather have the dts for my collection as im not a fan of menzies or the knights-
even rough values for this trade according to cardzone
the dt side-
Parramatta- est. 60.00
Storm- 65.00
The other side-
Knights dt- 50.00
Menzies- 120.00
Thurston gem- 25.00
so 195 dollars worth for the approx 125 dollars worth for the dts. if your after values definitely take the menzies part, but personally id rather the dts.
There's only one Menzies All Star Signature on ebay right now for $120 (#408/500), as mentioned before it's a pretty common sense deal for the Menzies alone, given it's scarcity and the calibre of the player.
There are 2 other Menzies sig cards that I know of - one being the 'In Their Element' acetate cards (numbered to 200 only) from Dynamic Marketing in 1996, and the other a National Heroes acetate card also in 1996 (numbered to 1000) - just for those interested!
