Found out about a small monthly show on just outside of the city. Decided to check it out, bad thing is, I just got some work and ended up doing 11 hours straight Sat night through Sun morning till 5:00 a.m. Show was on Sunday, so I got a couple hours sleep and felt like crap, lol. Ended up convincing myself to get up an get going, with the help of some medication
A walk, subway ride and bus ride later, I was feeling good and happy I made the trip. Small show, one biggish room, nothing compared to The National lol! There was 3-4 guys with basketball stuff, so I was only there an hour roughly. Still, there was a fair few new cards, including some Ultra! Picked up some bargains too! I'll list them in a sec. Lots of decent stuff, serial numbered etc in some cheap piles which was good fun sifting through. I plan heading back next month to grab some more because I didn't have much time and I had to get back to downtown for my next lot of work
O.k. so I grabbed some decent cards:
96/97 Bowman's Best Cuts rafractors - Grant Hill, Dennis Rodman
New 07/08 Autographics - James White, Bruce Bowen
Bowman Sterling RC auto/GU - Carney, Thabo
Scored a Mookie Blaylock 98/99 Sign of the Times for $1! for the PC set.
Press Pass Legends: Maurice Ager green /25, Sue Bird /899 and /99 (who collects her?)
Hilton Armstrong Press Pass Blue auto /50
05/06 Finest Gold X-Frac J-Rich /29
04/05 Pristine Gold die cut refractor Jet Terry /27
96/97 Flair Showcase Row 0 Anfernee Hardaway
99-00 Finest Dunk Masters Scottie Pippen /750
05/06 SP Sig Edition Gold JR Smith /25
06/07 Big Game Andrew Bogut 1/59
06/07 Topps Trademark Moves Ricky D wood /75
Plus some other nice stuff, like Nique Triple threads, Ben Wallace Supreme Court patch /25, some Devins for Scotty, etc, etc. All will be scanned if available on my return home! I can't wait just like you guys
Will contact via pm those I have specific cards for too. Hopefully returning to Australia at the start of December.

Adhunt - I will keep an eye out for those and grab them now I know.
The Bowen is nice Jim, in Spurs uni.
Benny,
I'm here until part way through November, in Toronto. In a shared house basically. I'm waiting mainly for the Raptor's, Celts game coming up on November 4th, then I'll be heading west, then back to the US to the East (different than originally planned) for some tourist stuff before headng back home for the start of December.
Certainly was a little exciting Scotty, especially the Mookie auto score Trav. Tell me about it Al, the things we do, I was on the edge with the decision to go, I almost fell back into bed at several stages along the way of getting ready to go lol. I'm hanging out to get home so I can scan everything I scored from the US and Canada. Basically a dream fulfilled it will be the ultimate Mailday Thread, the biggest to hit Ozcards!
Sounds like you're having a good time up there in Toronto Brad...! Very nice pickups. Maybe next month they will have some of the New L J cards...I know you will keep an eye out for me :v:
Yes Patrick! Here's hoping, from the couple of ball dealers, they had a nice assortment of new stuff so it was good. I just wish there was more basketball, especially something to so with the '94 games
