Topps error or replacement cards

I have a few Topps cards that are errors. I wrote to them to see if they would exchange them and they said it wasn't up for replacement.
I have the corrected card, is it s fake ?

A lot of error cards are never replaced and they simply stay in the set as an uncorrected error card.

If you have the correct one as well it sounds as they corrected it at some point, but are no longer willing to reprint the corrected versions to replace the errors you have.
