toploaders, magnetics, screwdowns... 1 size up?

Seen the billions of forums for 'what size card' etc and im not starting another

I know what size my card is but my question is do u get a size bigger than the card size to 1) definatly make sure it fits and 2) let it breathe a bit? Or am i just silly and should get the 'perfect' size in hope it wont squash?

Good question, are magnetic better than screw downs? Where does everyone get them from? Ive been sitting on a few myself.
