Just days after the conclusion of the 2016 NFLPA Rookie Premiere Presented By Panini America, collectors already can get their virtual hands on the exciting first cards from the event. As you’ll see in the gallery below, the Panini Digital team took full advantage of the unparalleled access the NFLPA Rookie Premiere provides by acquiring the photography and autographs required to deliver rich rookie content to the company’s Gridiron Digital Trading Card app.

The first wave of new cards hit Gridiron late last week, when the Rookie Roll Call insert was added to the app just hours after the 40 players in attendance posed for their first Gridiron photos. Autographed versions of Rookie Roll Call were added Thursday and Friday, making for a hectic few days inside the Panini America Suite.

Of course, Rookie Roll Call was something of a dress rehearsal for Saturday, when the game’s future stars donned their NFL uniforms for the first time for a full day of action inside the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Within minutes of hitting the Panini Gridiron station on Saturday, the players had been photographed and inserted into the Field Day insert. Minutes after that, stuff like this started happening . . .

Rookie Roll Call and Field Day are now live on the Gridiron app (we’ve provided a healthy gallery of some of the gems below). Download the app now (if you haven’t already) and start collecting the first licensed virtual cards of the top 2016 rookies in their NFL uniforms.
