Top 8 predictions

Now the season is halfway done I thought it'd be a good time to make a prediction for the end of year Top 8. Here's mine

1. Geelong
2. St Kilda
3. Bulldogs
4. Brisbane
5. Adelaide
6. Carlton
7. Sydney
8. Hawthorn

Unfortunately I reckon Essendon will finish 9th or 10th.

top 2 will be decided, round 14 Saints V cats... Once that game is played.. we can determine the top 2.

I personally think The Saints are slightly ahead of Geelong right now... not by much.. I just think the Geelong Backline is not as strong as it once was... and The saints backline is No 1 in the league right now... Good tough challenge for both teams in the middle... with both having A grade midfielders... with saints having 1 or 2 extra shut down players combatting ablett and bartel...

Will be great game... If the saints forwards can fire... Kozi and Rooy.. hard to stop them.

I reckon Gazza gonna have a shot from the boundary on the siren to win them the Premiership! Cats by 3!

Well at least my team West Coast is gonna get good draft picks along with Richmond, Melbourne and Freo before the Gold Coast team comes in and gets them all!

Geez everyone rates the Pies! Why? Couldn't even beat Essendon. hahaha.
I saw Geelong live against us and they are a bloody AWESOME team. The thing is, if Bartel and Ablett are quiet, Selwood and Ling could dominate. Shut down Chapman, then there's Steve J and Varcoe. Plus Scarlett at FB.
Personally I think the Cats will beat the Saints.

and my 8 has changed make it 7.Sydney 8. Essendon.

Don't forget we have beaten Carlton, Collingwood AND Hawthorn. Bring it on!

Here's my top 8 for the end of the year. I find it hard to see any other teams make it inside based on current form. I would've put the Bombers in but their draw over the final half is tough.:v:

Yeah Essendon making it is a stretch. I'd swap Collingwood for Brisbane on yours, though. I'm biased though
