So we pulled 27 Flats, and a Gurnett but we let that sucka go, cos they shits of thing to fillet, and you end up wastin' ya time on em anyways.
Any how...
Danni was once again showin us fella's how it's done, by pullin the first 5!!!
I had no nibbles for ages, using some new lures, that sucked big time. So I change them up, and still no luck.
In the mean time, between Danni and Pops (her old man) they're starting to have competitions. Bart (Danni's nephew) starts too, so I'm the odd-one out... still nothing.
Changes the lures AGAIN... gets a couple of nibbles, but no strikes. Adds a bit of bait, and WHAM! Gets the next two LITTLE fish.... oh well, better than being a phantom fisher.
Drops me line (still keeping the same bait, cos I could), and I gets a nibble... WHAM, a strike... wheels it in... and it drops off... FARK IT!
Drops the line off a bit, and HOOKED, I get him back.... a few metres and he's off again... GRRRRRRR.....
Couldnt bring it in, so I drop the line back......
He's back, I get him this time, and fark it's a toughy.... winds it up, and not only was it a King Flathead, but he had a mate with him too (we're using 3 lures/hooks on the 1 line).
Pulls it in, and WOW..... what a fish! Wasnt the biggest of the day, but it's my first Kingy.
Hope the photos work, and aren't TOO big to load...
p.s GO EAGLES!!! lol.
EDIT:
Images didnt work (as attachments) so here they are.... Dial-Uppers, sorry...
27 Flathead
King Flathead:
I've got word, that this is only a smallin' compared to what's out there.... WOW!!
Luckily for you just 3 under the bag limit!!! You would have had the Tasmanian Dept of Sea Fishing and Aquaculture after you otherwise!!!
Great work and even better eating...well done!!

Must of cost a fortune to buy all those and come up with that story and the sms to go along with it LMAO
Well done Danni, for once I can say you reeled in a real catch ;-) LMAO
Too bad they wouldn't get past that pesky Beagle otherwise I'd invite you over for dinner hehe
And I got told by some greenie the other day that they chopped all Tassie's forests down, all the animals have died and thats why he stands on a street corner with dirty hair all day asking for money for greenpeace??
There's the proof he not only has lice but is lying.
lol, yeah there was another boat out with us, and when had about a dozen, and they had 4.... so I guess it's the lures ya use and stuff, cos were were about 30m apart......
They are great to eat Benny, the Tiger Flathead (King) are a little bland compare to the others, but great with some vinegar, and inbetween bread!
