ie- craig 5150.
I think a fan vote would result in unequal distribution and bias with more popular clubs and players getting the nod frequently. The way it is means it's still subjective, but more fair in terms of accuracy and distribution.I think it depends on team, then player for many.
Still don't think many know about it OR if missed first one or two, less inclined to get them all.
I've not been 100% on some of the choices but I've got them anyway. The thrill for me is seeing what number I get each week. First two weeks I got same number and for a week hoped it'd happen a third time but alas no.
It'd be fun next year if they picked three players and put it to a fan vote for a day for the card to be chosen.
Chris, we are all having a bit of fun with these cards, at the end of the day, it all comes down to the almighty dollar and whether we think we want or need to have them.I think it depends on team, then player for many.

There are about 5 more sets of cards yet to be released this season alone.
For me I like the surprise of which player it is, don’t get me wrong some picks I’ve been confused by but still will collect them, I also enjoy the suspense of what number I will get.I think it depends on team, then player for many.

I hope there’s an indigenous set as every team had one for that round. Can confirm.......maybe not 5 but some things in the works.
When the Raiders are on mad Monday? Can’t wait till September / October!!

With the amount of cards on the market, its not surprising the low numbers being released.
I for one am not about to shell out $20 a week for 25-26 weeks at a cost of 500-520.
And find out it is only worth 50% of what I paid for it within a month.
those days are over for me I'm afraid.

Hence why there are only really team collectors now.
So bring on some more saints cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the Raiders are on mad Monday?
Ha ha, great call. I can’t even dispute the fact that you will be likely be right!
The only thing I can really say is that sledge is way too clever for a Souffs fan, who came up with it?
Mat Moylan had 6 try assists. Not always about who puts the ball down and I think some of the stats that get bandied around on here each week don’t always tell the story . No stat for try saving tackles ?My top 3 picks this week are Cam Smith had a great game and his stats and try show why, Valentine Holmes- hat trick and James Tedesco- try, try assist, line break and 8 tackle breaks.
Whats everyone elses thoughts this week?
Cotric (in my very biased opinion)
2 tries
1 try assist
3 linebreaks
In the context of the game his last LB and TA were huge
Sorry dont have a stat for try saves but I do agree that just putting a ball over the line doesn't warrant it unless there is work for them to do to get that ball over the line. As for Moylan, on two occassions the overlap was created by Townsend when he drew two defenders in creating a shift in the defensive line and moylan just had to pass to dugan for the try but he ends up the try assist. And it was Townsend kicking game especially the long kicking that kept the pressure on the knights, one area Moylan needs to work if he wants to be a great half.Mat Moylan had 6 try assists.
