Depemds on how much space and money you got mate.....and how many cards.
Ideally I would love all my bases to be catalogued and placed I 9 card pages, all my PCs in top loaders with all my high ends (too many of them) in one touches, displayed.
But for space, I got tons stored in 3000-5000 ct boxes. Lots of my PCs stored in 200-1000ct boxes, with lots more in toploaders or one touches.
Go onto cardboardconnection.com and look at some of the products on there, you'll be able to see the card designs, some reviews of the boxes, and the best price for a box. Really helpful in my experience.
It all depends on what you are looking for? What are your interests? Are you player focused or chasing the thrill of busting something big from box or pack? comc.com is great and they stock a lot of stuff. Good luck with your collection whatever track you decide to go down.

I would recommend jumping on COMC.com and doing some window shopping to find out what you like, you can see the cards that are up for sale and also the cards that have been sold just to get a visual on what you like. I jumped back into collecting a few years ago and I started with Cherry on a few group breaks but it can be very hit or miss. I've also used Mojobreak over in the US and you get all cards inc base sent to you which is good when you're starting out, it can trigger a set chase or even a PC player chase. Busting boxes can be expensive but its a good way to start as you can get some cheaper boxes and it doesn't matter if you don't hit huge but you will at least hit an auto or something. It's hard sometimes to get in group breaks for say a $50 spot and watch as you hit nothing, offset by the chance at paying $50 and getting some sweet mid-high autos.
Jump in small and work up as the cards will probably always be there if you wait
