Well guys this mailday is a special shout out mailday to a friend of mine that most know through card collecting circles as 'Exquisitecollector' or Tim.
A few months back I noticed in an Attyball Exquisite break video that they pulled the Herbert Hill Platinum parallel base rookie #1/1. I immediately contacted them to work a deal, but I got the response:
"Sorry but this card has been sold to a local collector"
A little down, I asked them if the collector would consider moving it and if they could divulge who bought it. (maybe a little pushy, but hey it's a 1/1
)
The reply was a weird 1:
"Sorry but I don't want to ruin the suprise
Whoops!"
So from then on I knew something was up, and actually contacted Tim to help me track this card down. Now Tim being the sneaky bugger he is played along perfectly saying he couldn't dig up anything, Attyball was giving him the run-around too and he knew nothing about it.
Then suddenly 2 months down the track I get an Express post card in my mailbox...which was not expected. Off I go to collect it, and as soon as I was given it I knew who it was and possibly what it was. Lets face it, Tim's name is a big give away
So without further adieu, I give you the contents of my suprise Christmas present from the Timster!
