Thoughts on this Jersey auction

Thought I would start a thread because I'm still up, found this auction on Ebay and thought I would test some peoples powers of deduction.

I thought that as well Dave but after checking i think its Brad smith but he has signed it bradley smith.
You would of Known straight up if it was Billy because it would of said legend No 7 under his Signature.

Well done it is a 1997 jersey not 1998.

Apart from the ARL badge it is signed by Damien Smith who didn't play for St George in 1998, also the jersey isn't signed by "the man" who didn't play for the Dragons in 97.

Why do I care, well because this one on my wall is from the last St George season 1998:

On a side note can anyone help me confirm all the signatures, here's what I think:

I'm not sure on the Darren Treacy and the Daniel Wagon signatures in particular.

I'm pretty sure I'm out with the one that I labelled Daniel Wagon, here it is up close:

The second letter looks like an "a" and it ends with an upstroke "l" so kind of flows like you would write "daniel" and the loop in the second part could be a "g". Although thew very first letter doesn't look a lot like a "d"

Here is Daniel Wagons auto. Its in the top left hand corner - 2nd one down. I dont think that its the one Ross.

Here's a list of possibles given who played games in both 97 and 98 as you can see the same signature in the Ebay link I posted, it's in the same spot but looks a bit more complete. Potential 98 players not on mine are:

Luke Felsch, Tony Hearn, Robert Henare, Ben Kusto, Dean Raper, Colin Saukuru, Brad Smith, Daniel Wagon, David Waite.

Now it's not Brad "Billy" Smith, we are ruling out Daniel Wagon........
