It is not misdirected mate, cards that are not numbered are basically a license to print money.
Your right about the Immac ink being it is only the sub set that have the stickers but a high end product
at around $900 a box, yes a box should have zero sticker auto's out of respect for the consumer.
And the auto's are of nobody's just to fill space.
And yes it is only the Spectra rookies but I saw someone pull a Jabari /5 RPA the other day
and it was sticker auto unlike the Wiggins for some unbeknown reason his is on card.
You'll notice I only bolded the part about sticker auto's. That is what I was responding too.
You have to remember that for every "nobody", there is a group of collectors and fans who have supported and followed that "nobody" through their basketball career. What would you like? Only LeBron and Wiggins in a set?
Not claiming them to be a panini invention - however, said stat would go a long way to show its customers that it is working toward a "perfect world" in which they don't exist. They may never get there in realty, which I personally have no problem with with but they would certainly be given credit (from customers and those within the hobby) to see a percentage go (eg) 38%, 33%, 29% and 28% over a four year period.

Sorry, wasn't trying to say that you were claiming them to be a Panini thing, just putting a fact out there.
Ideally, it would be great to have all on-card autos, but it seems counter-productive to be attempting to phase out sticker auto's whilst still having rookies sign them.
Then again, with on-card autos, your creating an issue with handling, and in turn, card condition.

Probably seems like there is less stickers than 11-12 and 12-13 because there is half the amount of products. especially low-end products.
I see a BIG problem with having to accept sticker autos on any box over $250 aud retail and infuriatingly when you have a whole subset in $700 Immac that is sticker autos..
For one, there are some great names in that INK subset... but I find it is aiding in dragging down the players value in other products with on-card autos. Big dislike from me.
Its also a bit of a head-scratcher when you have the same player signing both sticker and on-card in the same product. ala Wiggins in Spectra
On the subject of Wiggy autos, If you pay attention to his sticker autos, you can see the ones he did early in the rookie's year where they are all very neat, the 'A' is nearly perfect along with the "ggin" part of his auto which is all neatly written. ie; Hoops, prestige, prizm
Now at the end of the season you see he is way over signing and all the on-card autos are just super-rushed scribble, very streaky and probably won't grade well at all.
Its a pity as i think he has a decent auto when he takes his time.
I'm lukewarm on this product. I've seen a handful of nice looking cards and then a whole bunch of stuff that is just blah. I am a fan of the Global Icons set. If it wasn't so large, it would be a nice set to put together. I've only picked up these three cards so far:
No one even bid on this card but me, so I was kinda surprised how cheaply I got it for.......or maybe I'm just used to Webber prices and actually overpaid. lol
I said I liked Global Icons, so I grabbed this one too
Finally, a lone Webber. I've been informed of the black 1/1 being pulled, and I'm just hoping the guy decides to let it go.
