Thoughts on retail exlusives?

I've been having a hard time finding Aminu retail exlusives for simple things like pinnacle and prestige, especially the blue walmart exlusives, and it got me wondering what people thought out these exclusives?

I personally don't mind cool looking exclusives like the Prizm BWR, especially because these popular products get busted like crazy, but I find the simple ones like Pinnacle and Prestige to be a waste considering is only a slight foil colour change.

Walmart Blue is a pain to find. I like having them but they need to find a way to get these busted internationally also (Red in Target aust and blue in Kmart?)

One of the last cards I need foru valanciunas prizm rainbow is the blue walmart prizm, can probably see me getting the black before I find that one at this rate! Don't particularly want to have to buy rack packs looking for one card either! It's especially tough when their retail exclusives are just a foil change like you said, if they're being listed on eBay they're often really hard to search for or mislabelled which is frustrating

I like the concept of retail only but not if the international market misses out which is mostly the case.

Blue is definitely the hardest, I need blue to complete all of my rainbow chases.

I'm quite surprised since there are so many Walmart stores in the U.S, there are even Walmarts that open 24 hours!
Unless not all stores sell basketball cards?
