Hey Fellas

I just wanted to make some people aware how much I appreciate the effort people have gone to to make OCT what it is and how it works!!!!!

I only joined about 1 year ago (or less) after just re igniting my passion for BBall cards and was shown this site. I had never used a forum before this site and was always a bit uneasy about making transactions with just a username.

My very first deal on here was with a dodgy bridge guard named Arthy23 after I just opened a box of 10/11 Threads and pulled a Wood Rookie auto that he needed for his chase and I made a deal to trade him for some spurs cards I liked. Believe it or not, the Spurs cards never arrived, and for the first 6 months, I was too scared to make another deal with Arthy in case he thought I ripped him off. Even though I was a brand new member, Arthy sent me some paypal to cover the value lost - even though he was out of pocket - and he also left me feedback which said "happy to leave 1st Positive feedback. excellent new member. highly recommended!!". I know, nice guy hey! I could have been a scammer and he wouldn't have known back then!

Since then, I have done over 70 perfect deals on here, and at least 10 of them have been with International members - and just as I received some cards from an International deal today - I felt overwhelmed at the ability of this site to bring together some good, honest, reliable card enthusiasts to allow the hobby to be what it is.

I am not sure on how the site got started, or how it runs on a day to day basis, but I do know that it is due to crazy amounts of generosity from people like Graham, Matt26 and Billyhoyle (only mods I know of - sorry if there's more) in giving their time and also the people who help financially to make it happen.

I know this is just another mushy thread, but with all of the negativity being spread around by people that have had 1 or 2 bad experiences, I think it is important to show people that there are plenty of good people on this site that care about each other and their hobby!!!!

Anyway, thanks for reading and feel free to comment or troll (Bainy, Arthy, CRACKBERRY etc etc) and let the guys who make this site work know that they are appreciated!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I have yet to come across a bad trader here yet - unlike another site I go to where I've been ripped off several times. I don't know, maybe with me it's because of my beckett experience and ratings (see my sig) that people are confident in trading with me (or should I say wary of scamming an established online trader)... but I've found people here are generally a good mob. There are a certain few who tend to ask more than the going price for some cards, but I suppose that's just them.

Honestly I think it's the best card site in the world now. May not be the busiest, I don't know about that but it's got the best feel, vibe....

Jokes aside, many of us here have different thoughts and opinions in respect to things in life but it is the passion in the hobby that bonds us together. Definitely the best basketball hobby forum in the world.

I had to fix your post Minh. Shes be over there for 2 weeks and is due back friday its been so peacfull that a couple of extra days from drinking some poisin water wouldnt be the worst thing to happen.....

BTW just want to point you in the direction of ESPN: NBA Player Rankings 51-60 - ESPN and you will see a certain somebody more than 60 ranks better than DeJuan Blair

So on average.... If Ibaka comes in at say... 1st then you take the average of the 3 - which in case you are failing your courses would be done by adding 1 + 160 + 220 and arriving at 381, then dividing that figure by 3 (1 for each player), you would get an average of 127 per player.

By my calculations.... that is still a worse ranking than Blair
