thinking about a set chase, advice please :)

hey guys, i was thinking about starting up a set chase as ive never done one before and finding it hard to find lebron stuff that isnt priced super high. I really like the,

03/04 Ultimate Colllection Dual Patch set:

Also like the look of the 06/07 Exquisite Patch Autos:

And also the 08/09 UD Premier Dual Patch Veteran and Rookies:

Which do you think would be a good set to chase??? and do any of you guys have any from these sets for sale or trade?? or know anyone on other forums??

The first or second for me. I was collecting the first set a while back and the lebron will run you about the same a the mj being his rc year

i agree, just dont think i could get the jordan and lebron, with the other sets above i already have either the lebron in one set and the jordan in the other.

I would go with the 2nd one, nice looking cards with patches and on card autos, but they dont run for much of a premium on eBay compared to other Exquisite cards

yeah i think this set might be the easiest to complete for that reason. i cant find any of the ultimate duals but i do like the look of the ud premier and there pretty cheap compaired to the others, just hard to track them down

either way you go luke, your going to have a beautiful set chase.
i'd go for the exquisite patch autos if it was my decision & $$$ was not an issue.

My vote is on the 03-04 Ultimate Dual Patches.
Awesome design and most of them solid players.
Try the link here there's a guy on HK selling more than half from the set.
Good luck in whatever set you choose to go for.

I don't know that guy so can't help you there.
Since you have the Jordan, and if his prices are reasonable I think it should be better than going for the Exquisites.
Seriously the prices of Exquisites are totally ridiculous at the moment.

The Exquisite Auto Patch set had a few cards that could have questionable patches... plus the signatures go a little spotty when they run over the glossy picture of the player. Used to be pretty underpriced - I sold my MJ for about $800 which people said I would be mad not to take (usually went for $600-ish). Now the MJ is $1200+.

I think you should just go for whichever one you like the look of the most. Sets can be quite challenging...
