Hey!
I made it. First flight ever, took some pills, so it was all good. I can't believe how many smoke shops there are in Hollywood Blvd that sell incense burners! They must have a market for them here ;)
Haven't spotted any card shops yet, hanging out to get to Cleveland for the National though.
Just wanted to say hi :v: and say I have been to the infamous Paris Hilton front gate where the media circus was when she was let out of prison :woot:
 
Have fun mate, you will have an absolute blast there. MAte there is a sweet shop in Santa Monica, not far from where you are. It's called Santa Monica Cards. The boxes I bought from there were great!
 
Glad you got there alright Brad, keep us posted about the National and keep your eye out for Sonny (Sashquach) for me he has my logoman.
 
Looking not to spend thousands Al! Scott, I will be meeting Sonny in Cleveland and staying with him at the hotel, so he will be guiding me through my first National! That logoman might go missing in somebodies suitcase ;)
Will look for the card shop at Santa Monica tomorrow Hads, I looked one up at Santa Monica Place, Carlton Cards, is that it?

Thanks for the comments. The National Starts on Wednesday 1st August in Cleveland.
Public transport in LA sucks, took about 2 1/2 hours total on the buses from hollywood to Santa Monica and back!
I've found the prices can be inflated around tourist areas too but I managed to pick up an older pair of Iversons for $25, last pair in stock.
