Well after some complications with plans, I have ended up in Toronto at this stage of my trip. No bloody card shops in the area . But I have already visited the NHL Hall of Fame, laid eyes on the Stanley Cup as well as the original Stanley Cup! which is inside a vault there. A great story behind the start of the league and the cup itself, I saw the DVD at the theatre in the Hall of Fame. I definitely recommend heading there if you ever get out this way. Lots of memorabilia on display. Sure shows how crazy Canadians are about their Hockey aye
The Air Canada Center and Rogers Center are all close buy for NHL, NBA and MLB. I plan to see the Blue Jays take on the LA Angels in a few nights, then I'll be trying to stay here until November for the Celtics/Raptors game
Seems quite different from Cleveland so far, some items cost a lot more here than in Cleveland, especially postage! Apparently the delivery times suck too. Anything anyone wants to know about this place? Apart from the fact there's plenty of young women getting around here bcause of the Toronto University down the road Very nice city in most parts is Toronto. I'm open to questions! lol
I wish I was still in the warm weather up there *Sigh*.....Anyway, you should head to a baseball game. I was in Ohio last month as well and saw the Cincinatti Reds vs the Arizona Diamond-Backs. Great Atmosphere. Are you planning on seeing Baseball?

I been to Toronto a few times on vacations with my family back from 1998-2001. First off I have been to a card shop there. I may try to look it up to see if I think it is the one I have been to but I have been to one in downtown Toronto. You need help with finding a card shop in downtown Toronto???
I have been to the Skydome before for a Blue Jays game. I went back in the days before I ever taken ip autos seriously. My first MLB game I ever went to was at that place and geez that was 8 years ago lol. Are you plan on trying for autos at that game or hotel??? Just wondered out of curiosity. I never done autos at Toronto hotels ever. It was before I understood more about ip autos kinda like my ancient time before graphs if you know what I am saying lol....
Have you been on the trains and all that??? My last time I was in Toronto was back in 2001 and it is one of the cleanest cities I have been in.
Yeah as for Prices in Canada on stuff, they suck badly. At the card shop I been to, I have seen regular card packs priced around close equivalents to the price of Blue Jays tickets. It sucks price wise in that country. Buying a regular 20 oz pop over there is like buying a pack of cards. I know where your coming from on prices of items and stuff.
As for the Air Canada Centre, I have been to a Raptors game there. It was back around thanksgiving day 2001. As for that arena, it is one of the worse for autographs and I wish I discovered graphs at the hotel sooner before I set myself up for almost total disappointment. Although, I did get Hakeem Olajuwon that night!!! That arena has to be the loudest arena I have ever been to in the NBA for a basketball game. The entire arena has Bose speakers around it and you can't hear youself think when the PA guy goes off or loud music.
If you need help with anything Toronto, lmk as I can see if my info is still valid on that place. Keep in mind the last time I was ever there was back in 2001 lol......
Thanks guys, much appreciated! I did a search for some cardshops but turned up nothing, maybe I searched wrong. Any other info will be greatly appreciated!
Sigman, I know there's a swanky hotel on the side of the Rogers Center, maybe the players stay there? I would think they'd have direct access to the ground from there and wouldn't be seen outside the stadium?
Unsure as of yet. Playing it by ear mate. I have up to 12 months in Canada, so anywhere in between lol! Really want to see the celtics play before I head home though

Sorry about my sportscard shop search but I been super busy lately. I will try to get to it when I can.
I have heard of the hotel attached to the Skydome and I know that players DO NOT stay there but don't quote me on it since I have not been there in 6 years. To tell you the truth personally, I don't know what hotels players stay at in Toronto and when I went to my first ever games there, it was before I understood how the hotel thing works for autographs and all that. Yeah trust me, if I knew about graphing at hotels back then, I may have alot more autos then I do right now.
