Two years, eight months and one day. Believe it or not, that’s how long it’s been since we’ve brought you one of our popular Panini America “Guess the Autograph” contests here on The Knight’s Lance. But bolstered by many requests from you for its return over the last few months, we’re finally bringing it back — and we’re using cards from the scorching-hot 2014-15 Preferred Basketball release to do it.
Below are 20 mostly unidentified autographs from 2014-15 Preferred Basketball. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to identify them. Some you’ll recognize instantly. Others will likely have you scratching your heads and searching the far recesses of that autograph-recognition database in your head.
Simply provide your answers as a comment to this post. We’ll give you through tomorrow night to get your answers in and the person who identifies the most autographs correctly will win a Panini America prize package featuring 2014-15 Preferred Basketball autographs. (In the event of multiple correct entries, we’ll draw three winners at random to win a prize pack of 2014-15 Preferred Basketball autographs.)
We’ll wait to approve all comments until after the entry deadline — which is tomorrow (June 28, at 11:59 p.m. CST) — so your comment will appear to you as “pending moderation.” That’s our way of protecting your answers to this contest so that everyone else can’t see them. To be eligible to win, PLEASE KEEP THE ANSWERS TO YOURSELF (DON’T SHARE THEM WITH OTHER CONTESTANTS) until after the deadline. We want to reward those folks who’ve taken the time and effort to identify the autographs.
