I have had a few more Blairs rock up that I thought would have been here before my last mailday.... but didn't. Proving Kiwi's theory really... post a mailday and they will come!

Anyway, some nice ones here as well IMO:

First up.... I have wanted one of these for a fair while but every time I saw one, the seller would not ship to Aus or the seller had way too high a price tag:

This is one that I am really relieved to pick up! The 09/10 Version is /9 and I have only ever seen one of them which I wasn't able to buy at the time, so I didn't want to miss out again!

I managed to find one on another site and the seller was asking $185 for it??? WTF??? Low end product??? After letting him know what I thought it was worth ($40-$45 max) we politely parted ways (no seriously it was really polite, I was surprised).
I then found this one, for $38 :lol:

And the last one is a simple yet sophisticated looking base parallel. I am not sure why, but I like the studio cards? I think it is the faded action shot they have incorporated into it.

Haha the one I was waiting for arrived on Monday after my post so maybe there is something to the if you post it they will come theory...

Studio cards were one of the nicer looking base sets in recent times - shiny, but not overly shiny like Certified! Lowest end product probably has the best auto on it (dark blue sticker sig over a black uniform?! c'mon.....) Golden 'Threads' isn't a GU or patch card - wtf?

Good work on the season update, sometimes it's hard to walk away from stuff that's really low numbered that you need, want or must have...but it's the principle involved!

haha... I think it is officially a 'fact' more than a theory now. The funniest thing is that these cards were bought 2 weeks before the tags I posted the other day. I messaged the seller to say they weren't here yet and that I may have to open a not received case because it was at 40 days..... the next day... whammo! :lol:

I concur.... the studio are a good balance. I recently saw some of the auto subsets in there too and was contemplating a chase ;)

The Golden Threads has - standard insert, dual GU, dual Patch and dual Auto versions... so not really sure what the reference to threads is??? All of the duo's on them are from the same team, with one retired and one current, so maybe a 'down the line' sort of thing???

Great pick ups, the Season update patches have been going for really high prices, crazy even, so that was a bargain.

And the Rodman dual auto is a really nice card, great get on that one.

Is it?? I am studying anatomy at the moment funny enough (and I dont just mean watching porn), I havent heard of that part of the heart?

If I fail an exam because i say that the blood flows from the aorta into the cockles I am blaming you!! ;)
