The players you love to hate

I'm sure there's been plenty of villains in the league over the years... stars, role players, bench guys. We love to hate them for various reasons - because they have their best games against you, because they get too much hype or well... because they are just awful and you can't see how they got another roster spot.

What I want to hear is... Which NBA player (past or present) do you love to hate?

I should make Cavs V1 Lebron & Heat Lebron ineligible for nomination haha.

I don't feel a strong dislike any players these days, but back during his Nets days I couldnt stand Richard Jefferson, and these days I don't even know why I disliked him :S

PAUL PIERCE....probably the biggest douche bag to ever hit the nba, I know he has been clutch through his career and steady etc, but I just want to punch him in the face!!

JAMES HARDEN...I actually liked this guy once, then his head grew twice the size and he thinks he is the best player in the NBA, sorry Harden your not and you will never be, and you will never win a title...and apparently he gets fouled every trip to the basket too...

BLAKE GRIFFIN...have to say I respect him a little more than I used to because he has shown more heart and desire over the last season and a bit, especially when Paul went down, but with all his physical attributes at his size how can Westbrook average more rebounds?? even Matt Barnes averaged more blocked shots than Griffin, he needs to be inside more and stop taking mid range jump shots, I know he can spread the floor a little more this way, but the clips would benefit more with him being inside more...

CHRIS PAUL....smug and arrogant when being interviewed, extremely skilled though, but will never win a title as he doesn't have the "edge" like a lot of other winning players in the league, just seems like he can never lead a team very far in the playoffs...

DRAYMOND GREEN...used to like this guy, but he is a douche bag like the others above, no respect for any other team out there and probably has become the whingiest player in the league, everytime he commits a foul he complains...

TIM DUNCAN...Ok the guy is an all time great and probably the best power forward of all time...but he is such a whiney whingey annoying person, just want to punch him in the face...

REGGIE MILLER...to me the most over rated player in the history of the game!!! how many rings Reggie?? if you take away the amount of times he drew fouls by kicking his legs out and making contact with players which they don't call much anymore, Reggie would have struggled...

ok...ill get a lot of flak now from everyone...but they are just my opinions and we are all entitled to them...

No flak - I agree with most. I have a particular dislike for James "I don't play defence but I deserve MVP" Harden, Paul "quick get me a wheelchair and off the court" Pierce (however I respect his game a hell of a lot) and Blake "Poster Boy" Griffin (he gets protected something shocking. 90% of his highlight reel dunks should be fouls on him).

shit....I forgot about Dwight howard...he is a douche bag as well...plays half arsed when he isn't happy and tries when he wants to...over rated superstar really...has the potential to be great and doesn't utilize it...Demarcus Cousins is the best centre in the league, Dwight get your act together...

I'm gonna throw Will Barton's name up. He plays with the opinion that he is so much better than what he actually is. Goes all JR Smith shooting over people playing tight D, but makes JR Smiths shot looks good by the amount of bricks he throws up.

I hate Lebron, yes he is a great player but gets away with a charge nearly every time he scores, that left arm shoves constantly and when he gets breathed on he screams for a foul, also travels more than an airline pilot. Amare Stoudamire, just because he stinks as a player, Kevin Love due to wanting to be the man yet is over rated, Paul Pierce, Westbrook for his total disregard of basketball being a team game, and although it is not a fair reason I can't stand the site of Derreck Rose because every time he is on the opposite team on NBA 2K I can't stop him
