Panini America’s upcoming 2015 Clear Vision Football received rave reviews during special sneak-peek events in several local hobby shops over the weekend. From its see-through acetate stock to its A-list autograph checklist to its strong memorabilia inclusions to its overall design, collectors and hobby shops owners alike seemed to appreciate everything the product has going for it.
“Everyone loved the product,” said Charlie DiPietro, who hosted one of the sneak-peek events inside Sports Cards Plus in San Antonio. “Veteran box-busters busted box after box and they saw real value. The novice collectors were less concerned with ‘pay-back value’ and were just impressed with the look of the cards and the many numbered parallels and inserts. We had collectors who typically spend $25 a visit buy a pack of Clear Vision Football, then decide to buy a box. Several times these casual collectors had that first box lead to a second box and sometimes a third box.”
Between last week’s live Tweeting of the packout process for 2015 Clear Vision Football and the weekend previews, the buzz surrounding this new entry in Panini America’s NFL portfolio roster is incredibly strong. In other words, Friday’s national release date simply can’t get here fast enough.
