When it comes to impressive debuts, Panini America’s premiere edition of Black Gold Football last season taught us all a little something about the true impact of the right first impression. An instant frontrunner for New Product of the Year, 2014 Black Gold Football stood out conceptually, aesthetically and from a pure content perspective. That initial release was warmly embraced by collectors — and immediately raised expectations for all future Black Gold products.
Given that backdrop, it’s no wonder that the collecting Twitterverse was buzzing with excitement last Friday morning when Panini America Football Brand Manager Chris Barr took control of the Panini America Twitter account to bring you live updates from the packout process for 2015 Black Gold Football, the long-awaited follow-up to last season’s debut.
Each box of 2015 Black Gold Football includes two five-card packs and each five-card pack delivers one Shadowbox base card, one Shadowbox insert, one Metallic Logo card, one autograph card and one memorabilia card.
