Panini America’s perennial, Optichrome-enhanced staple known as Prizm Basketball returns to the hardwood for a new season on Wednesday bolstered by a bevy of new enchanting colors, hobby-exclusive Rookie Prizm Autographs and a stacked Hobby Jumbo version complete with its own array of exclusive Pulsar Prizm parallels.

Each hobby box of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball (20 packs, five cards per pack) will deliver one Rookie Autograph, 12 Prizm parallels and two SPs; each Hobby Jumbo box of 2014-15 Prizm Basketball (10 packs per box, 15 cards per pack) should deliver three autographs, 20 Prizm parallels and four SPs.

Pretty bummed at what I've seen so far.

I think Select might be better if it can improve on last year.

That Rainbow Prizm type card is cool and I like the fireworks set.

But I really thought with this rookie crop Panini would blow us away.
