they were indeed quite flat... gasol and bynum couldnt get in a groove due to rockets pressure, their own poor play and foul trouble... no matter how well kobe plays, he cant do it on his own
At the risk of giving Chad's last post some credibility I think you're right. They were flat today, a little rusty, no momentum and only really hustling when they were trying to edge back in the game with 3 or 4 minutes left which is pretty soft considering there was little hustle throughout the game in it's entirety, just glimpses. I said it in the Utah loss in game 3 and I'll say it again for this game, don't expect another win relying on us to shoot so badly, it won't happen. And Aaron Brooks, enjoy the time you had in the paint today....
Hows the game going Norm just got home from work....I see Kobe is lighting it up.....
Any other news??
Tech fouls everywhere! Artest ejected, fisher ejected (for a hip and shoulder on scola) and kobe every time he scores, runs up to Battier and says "You can't gaurd me!"
Derek Fisher's anyone see that? That was very uncharacteristic and in my opinion pretty random? It's not like he was trying to fight through the screen, he saw Scola come in his peripheral vision and just floored him - why?
Not a terrible result from the Rockets considering Yao only has 12, and Kobe has 40 not to mention Gasol has a decent game too.
Anyway Artest probably should've got a foul called on the Kobe elbow but he should have just kept playing. Derek Fisher's anyone see that? That was very uncharacteristic and in my opinion pretty random? It's not like he was trying to fight through the screen, he saw Scola come in his peripheral vision and just floored him - why?
