Been away on holidays otherwise I would have been chatting away in here!!
Absolutely smashed Memphis in the Home opener by 40!!!! Good to see Rip ticking over in the mid teens point wise too, not that he played vs Memphis but before that he had a couple of games where he did well.
Rose is being his normal MVP self! Had 16 assists the other day and with Rip and Deng spreading the wings, then having Boozer, Noah, Taj and Asik being able to bang down inside it opens it up a whole heap for the entire team! Can't see us dropping to many games when everyone plays well.
We'll be up their with Miami in the East again..... It's going to be hard for anyone to knock off the Heat, but we have seen what can happen to them in the Playoffs!
I think, although I'm a little biased, the Bulls are the form team of the comp at the moment. We had the toughest start in the NBA with 4 games away against the west and coming away 3-1 was great. The home win against the grizzlies, who are no slouches, was absolute Gold. It seems as if our defence has taken another step up and our offence has as well with the inclusion of RIP. Ronnie Brewer has also impressed me a lot, especially his 3 point shooting. Cj Watson's loss to injury will hurt us. Will give the rookie Butler some time at the 2 whilst I think deng and RIP handle the ball more when Rose is off court. Anyone know how long Watson is out for?
I also think Rose is loving the new structure. He is being relied upon less for points which is evident in how many less shots he is taking per game this season. His 3 point shot has also improved. The few he hit in the last quarter against the clips he wouldn't have been able to do a season ago. I also think he gave CP3 a bit of a schooling that game. Really took it to him early and whilst CP3 had a solid game Rose did dominate his position.
WHAT A WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rose has to be the most clutchest player in the league. Had 21 of the 34 bulls points in the last including the bucket to put them in front at 9.9 secs. We also had to fight against bullsh*t calls from the ref.
the guys played terrible today. they let the hawks get away with a strong start in Q1 and never got the upper hand. commendable performance by the hawks given this is their 3rd back-to-back, with the previous two games ending in overtime.
