Trying to get my head around why some authentic bronze are selling for $15 & others and sell well into $30-$40 even, and they are the same player? Anyone know why?

The last three sales for the Bateman have all exceeded $50. No idea why, there are 400 of each and despite Bateman being popular, the card is readily available for $25 delivered on dealer sites.
Last time I looked there didn’t appear to be any schill bidding and if someone is trying to corner the market, not the best option!

Least I’m not the only one noticing it, the Authentic Sigs are a lot higher then 2017/18 when originally at #/100 which is good to, hope they stay that way.
There is ALOT of new collectors about. Lockdown has seemed to attract a large number of new collectors and some seem to have cash to burn. No pubs open so extra $ for the new hobby.
Lots of new guys busting box after box on FB and other sites - staggering the volume some are breaking and a lot of them have no idea of value on cards. I have seen several people ask what the difference is between a bronze signature and an authentic one is. Someone even asked if a redemption card was worth more than the signature card.
I think some of those huge prices for the Bateman in particular would be due to people not knowing they were a printed signature.
Will see how it all pans out and if these new collectors are still around when Elite comes out.
Wow! Little concerting to say the least as personally the base/ low end inserts im not a fan of this year. Sigs are always great, 4&2 snapped up storm already another aspect is the predictors, confusing. Teams with no hope still fetching $65-$90. Teams with a realistic chance $80 + upwards to $120 wish. (Self sales promoting) I cant even sell a Winning Roosters predictor from last years for $100? Its not even to get the set from redemptions as they drop for $25-$50 upon first release based on 2018/19 sale. Traders confuses me every year, but hey I still by box or 2 in support and go after the storm PC Cards as we all love our teams
Never if true.
When the social requirements ease and the country gets back to normality,
A lot of people that are buying online will be back in the pubs and outside doing what they do, collectors or covid collectors will drop off.
Yes this is correct...... like any release sold out at the manufacturer means that there will be stock still available it just cannot be replenished. So what is out there is out there.
You could sellout the entire print run on day 1 but it means its sold out an manufacturer level with the resellers holding the stock.
