The Official 2012-13 EPL Thread

Apparently a lot of the Liverpool faithful let it be know to management that he was not welcome back. Still pissed off about how he left.

Could be a handy signing for Stoke.

I think a lot of fans are pissed that he signed for United.

Yeah that's what i thought it must have been but apparently they say it was the way he left.

I dont remember it being that big an issue at the time. He was pretty much done by the time he signed with ManU.

i gather youd rather recall carroll in jan tho? fingers crossed...

I never wanted Carroll to leave in the first place, I think people have been to harsh on his performance because of the big money move. He was never signed to be a 25-30 goals a season striker. I thought he played great for the Hammers the other night.

meh. hes a hard worker. thats about it. didnt create anything for us in the 3 goals. he may not be a 25 goal a season striker, but surely you want more than the 4 goals he did manage? thats my harsh opinion anyway. probably being unfair because i dont like him...

cristiano to PSG? for $95mill?
and looks like falcao is heading to england in january. finally.

-Owen move to Stoke approved.
-Carroll out for 6 weeks
-Angelo Henriquez signs for Man U. Another young striker.
-Ronaldo is a cry baby

bye bye nani? zenit confirm $25mill bid. would he want to go but?
hulk and witsel for 80mill, now going after nani and moutinho. quite an attack theyre trying to build there.

Nani's not worth 25 mill...wouldn't be surprised if Man U sell him for that.

'Super clubs' are certainly rising...

The police had no respect for football fans back then whatsoever. They had to deal with the terrace culture of the time, and unfortunately tarred all fans with the same brush and treated the majority well behaved fans the same as the hooligans.
And the ensuing cover up that followed, just disgusting.

Truly cowardly....I hope the likes of David Duckenfield, Kelvin McKenzie (Sun editor), and the hierarcy of South Yorkshire Police get their asses sued off them - that's what's next on the agenda....

3-0 to the Arsenal against Southampton I'm tipping. Gooners to sing "YNWA" at 3:06pm (UK) today in memory of the 96 Hillsborough victims.
