In June 2010 during the lead-up to Origin II, New South Wales centre Timana Tahu withdrew mid-week from the NSW squad following reports Johns referred to Queensland playerGreg Inglis as a "black cunt" during a training session.[19] Johns was subsequently fired from his role as NSW assistant coach. Though he apologised for the incident on Tuesday 15 June,[20] it is alleged it was not the first time Johns had used racist language in a football environment.[21] Inglis has since demanded Johns be barred from any involvement in rugby league in the future.[22]

I'm in no way defending what Joey did there....but you can "hmmm" all you like, hes the 8th immortal. He's the 8th immortal because of his achievements, and his ability on the field, nothing else

Judged on ability on the field and nothing else mate. Should we have taken into account Raper's drinking or Mal's political career? Mal's political career was far more embarrassing and offensive than most things.
